With Midwestern roots and a passport so full she is on her third set of pages, artisan Mary Schmeidicke has developed an ecclectic style with glass as both her medium and her muse.

“What drew me to glass was its permanence – an art form that could change shape and color, but not slip away altogether. I discovered a passion for glass art in a small bead shop in Greece, and the love affair continues to deepen.”
